Overview

In this role you will own and grow key utility/EPC accounts, acting as the main contact and orchestrator for strategic initiatives.

You will shape account strategy, develop long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, and drive end-to-end solutions that support Hitachi Energy’s carbon-neutral mission.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration to design and implement plans that unlock growth, while representing the company at industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Identify key business drivers for the customer and interpret opportunities for Hitachi Energy.
  • Lead the development of account sales strategies and customer long-term plans.
  • Own and implement the account plan, designing executive relationship strategies and coverage plans.
  • Define target opportunities by business unit/product group, and forecast revenue and growth for the account.
  • Manage strategic account relationships with an understanding of market channels and stakeholder networks.
  • Develop and share deep knowledge of the customer's business strategy, decision-makers, economic trends, and competition.
  • Lead conversations at board level and represent Hitachi Energy at industry/customer events.
  • Develop a concise pipeline and manage forecasts; ensure service portfolio sales.
  • Participate in negotiations of major contracts to secure volume.

  • Proven senior sales experience in a similar environment and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Track record of developing accounts to increase lifetime value and driving business development strategies.
  • Experience leading and/or delivering complex solution-based opportunities.
