Job Description
- Education as Process or Mechanical Engineer
- Experienced in site management and control of outage/retrofit project mechanical services for large industrial plants
- Experienced in the co-ordination of contracts/contractors on site
- Experienced as a leader of HSEQ and has knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements
- Knowledge of relevant international and national technical standards
- Ability to complete Audits, Write technical reports
- Competence in working methods
- Solution orientated

- Excellent motivational and leadership skills
- Ability to present ideas effectively
- Able to evaluate ideas of others
- Good command of English
Qualifications
- Demonstrates leadership and commitment to HSEQ.
- Actively encourages and leads the HZI and contractor teams to implement and comply with project HSEQ requirements
- Ensures that all relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into area of responsibility and that, in consultation with site management and HSE team, HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable
- Ensures that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed with regards to HSE requirements and that work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS
- Is responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel under their control, and for stopping work where this might be compromised
- Manages on site service team working closely with Service Managers/Project Managers and Site Supervisors in delivering Outage/retrofit service activities on time and within budget in accordance with local and company wide HSE and Quality systems/standards
- Implements standardized Engineering methods in order to identify complex problems
- Supports pro-actively the Site Supervisors and team to achieve objectives
- Provide guidance and Co-operation of consortium partners sub contractors and exchanges experience with colleagues responsible for products and other service teams and specialist departments
- Assists Service Manager in creating outage and retrofit bids (including calculations)
- Assists the Service Manager/project manager in applying continuous Change control and plus/minus list cost management without upsetting customer relationship and future business potential
- Delivers Lessons Learned and feedback for current and future projects
- Follows up and ensures closing of the contractor’s punch items
- Keeps the Service/Project Manager informed of all site related activities
