This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping and managing global controlling processes across the organization. As the Head of Controlling Practice team, you will define and implement a unified process structure, drive harmonization and standardization, and ensure compliance with global regulations. You’ll collaborate closely with business units, finance, IS, and capability centers to design integrative concepts, manage ERP template governance, and continuously improve processes. Acting as a key decision-maker, you will influence system architecture, oversee change management, and build a global network of controlling experts.

How you will make an impact:

  • Lead and manage the Global Controlling Practice team.
  • Define and maintain a global controlling process framework in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into ERP template and process enhancements.
  • Develop and oversee value flow and integrative concepts for global controlling processes.
  • Drive harmonization and standardization across all controlling processes globally.
  • Co-create the CP&O service catalogue and align service scope with delivery organizations.
  • Establish and enforce global controlling regulations in partnership with Finance, IS, and HQ.
  • Implement governance for process changes aligned with ERP template standards.
  • Manage and coordinate global process change requests with ERP template owners and related teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives for controlling processes.
  • Participate in decision‑making bodies for controlling processes, ERP templates, and system architecture.
  • Build and maintain a global network of controlling key and power users.

Your background:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; technical background preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Controlling.
  • 10+ years managing ERP and change management projects.
  • Proven success in driving change within service delivery environments.
  • Deep process knowledge of Controlling & Planning from both business and technical perspectives.
  • Hands‑on experience as SAP key/power user with strong technical finance expertise.
  • Solid understanding of Hitachi Energy’s business structure and interconnections.
  • Skilled in leading global projects and programs with cross‑functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
  • Advanced problem‑solving and analytical abilities with strong prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in SAP CO, PS, and FI modules, including table structures and system architecture.
