Hitachi Energy is looking for a Global Enterprise Architect who can represent the Enterprise Architecture authority for HR, HSE and Communications. This role includes designing and supporting the alignment of IT solutions to Hitachi Energy’s business goals by developing, planning, driving, expediting, documenting and communicating the global Enterprise Architecture. The architect ensures that all domain IT components fit together from a technical and business perspective and takes advantage of new technology developments.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing IT policies, standards and guidelines that steer the selection, development, implementation and use of IT application solutions and technologies within Hitachi Energy.
- Supervising and facilitating the evaluation and selection of appropriate IT applications, technologies and solutions.
- Assessing the IT architecture and IT service landscape regarding content and process and making recommendations for improvements.
- Proactively analysing IT technology industry and market trends and evaluating their potential impact on Hitachi Energy.
- Designing and leading the implementation of the Hitachi Energy Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Architecture Roadmap for the relevant domain based on business requirements and IT strategies.
- Supporting the evaluation of Business Capabilities with business owners and mapping them with respective applications to evaluate coverage and other relevant KPIs.
- Participating in the relevant Business Process Domain Council to support and advise members about suitable IT solutions and roadmaps.
- Working closely with stakeholders regarding expectation management and business and technical requirements.
Your Background:
- 10+ years of experience with HR and HSE knowledge Applications and Applications development & management processes and solutions, particularly: SAP, Workday/SuccessFactors, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), any leading HSE software, and Analytics tools.
- Understanding of frameworks like CSVLOD Model, TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF to design and implement effective enterprise architectures.
- Experience in translating business requirements into IT capabilities and solutions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work closely with various teams, including IT, operations, and management.
- Fluent English language and good interpersonal and communication skills.
