We are looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to lead the engineering and deployment of autonomous agentic workflows. In this role, you will bridge the gap between domain risk experts—who hold deep subject-matter knowledge but limited technical capability—and modern AI infrastructure. You will design, build, and deploy intelligent "AI Change Agents" that integrate directly into developer ecosystems (Git, Jira, Confluence) to perform automated risk assessments, evaluate policy compliance, triangulate text‑heavy datasets, and stream live updates to central risk registers.

Requirements

  • Agentic Orchestration & Frameworks: Hands‑on experience building multi‑agent systems, complex RAG pipelines, tool‑use mechanisms, and multi‑step workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, Pydantic AI, AutoGen, or similar.
  • Production Python Engineering: Production‑grade Python skills with a strong emphasis on writing clean, modular, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Ecosystem Integrations: Deep experience integrating with enterprise collaboration and CI/CD ecosystems, specifically Git, Jira REST APIs, and Confluence APIs.
  • Context Engineering & Retrieval: Proven expertise in prompt construction, context window management, vector retrieval strategies, and information routing over large text‑heavy datasets.
  • AI Evaluation & Observability: Practical experience measuring agent accuracy, evaluating LLM outputs, detecting regressions, and instrumenting tracing/monitoring tools.

Job Responsibilities

  • Agentic System Architecture & Delivery: Design and implement robust, multi‑step agentic workflows capable of performing automated risk evaluations across large, unstructured text datasets.
  • Developer Platform Integration: Integrate AI Change Agents seamlessly into toolchains such as Git, Jira, and Confluence to capture workflow changes, perform initial risk assessments, and provide automated feedback loops to engineering teams.
  • Domain Bridging & Consultative Partnering: Collaborate closely with non‑technical Operational Risk, Cyber, and Safety stakeholders to translate complex risk frameworks into automated "Policy Agents" and assessment engines.
  • Live Triangulation & Reporting: Build automated risk assessment cores that triangulate multi‑source unstructured data, dynamically update live risk registers, and generate executive‑level reporting.
  • Productionisation & Reliability: Take early‑stage AI prototypes and turn them into trusted, high‑availability, production‑grade solutions with rigorous evaluation and observability frameworks.
  • Architecture & Solution Design: Depending on the pace of delivery, contribute directly to the architectural design of the firm‑wide AI layer, ensuring scalability across heterogeneous enterprise stacks.
