You will play a key hands-on role in a greenfield, fully automated data center deployment, contributing across the full platform lifecycle—from infrastructure design and automation to system integration and operational enablement. This role is all about building robust, scalable, and automated platform foundations. Your day-to-day may involve infrastructure provisioning, automation pipelines, platform reliability improvements, and building tooling to support wider engineering teams. We are looking for someone who brings core platform engineering expertise, thrives in highly automated environments, and can flex across different aspects of the platform as priorities evolve.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE in Linux-based environments.
- Deploying/Managing Azure and/or Designing/Architecting Azure solutions.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar CI/CD tooling).
- Experience with IAC (Terraform or ARM).
- Experience with GitLab.
- Multi-cloud experience, e.g., with AWS, GCP etc., highly desirable.
- Architectural design and deployment skills for enterprise Cloud technologies (public, private and hybrid) into complex environments.
- Excellent knowledge of high availability and backup/recovery solutions.
- Excellent technical design, performance improvement and service alignment skills.
- Experience around business critical and business continuity solutions.
- Ability to lead on cloud initiatives and work to tight delivery deadlines.
- Proficiency in Golang or Python or PowerShell for automation and tooling.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and system automation.
- Strong grasp of platform reliability, resilience, and scalability best practices.
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
Job responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate platform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Develop and maintain automation pipelines and tooling to support provisioning, configuration, and platform services.
- Implement and improve CI/CD workflows to accelerate platform delivery.
- Enhance reliability, scalability, and performance of platform services. Cloud - Azure preferred; multi-cloud experience, e.g., with AWS, GCP etc.
- Write automation logic and integrations in Golang or Python, especially for infrastructure tooling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, production-ready platform capabilities.
- Support evolving priorities across infrastructure, automation, and operational tooling.
