Analytics Architect – Job Description

We are expanding our consulting team and are looking for an Analytics Architect to join our exciting journey and become part of the Hitachi family.

This is a unique and challenging opportunity for an experienced Analytics Consultant to join the Analytics practice. In this role you will deliver bespoke, cutting‑edge advanced analytics solutions, delivering significant commercial advantage to some of the UK’s most recognized companies.

The successful candidate will bring deep experience with business intelligence tools and techniques, advising clients on analytics best practices and delivering analytics capability on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting customers to maximise returns on their analytics investments.
• Developing long‑lasting, high‑quality business relationships with clients by instilling trust and confidence.
• Working directly with clients to understand their business strategy, programme requirements and processes.
• Demonstrating the future‑state solution enactment of the articulated programme strategy in the context of data, analytics and related applications and technologies.
• Utilising specialist knowledge of analytics, data warehousing and data engineering to support the development and expansion of the solution footprint to meet clients’ articulated business strategy.
• Providing solution demonstrations and contributing effectively on new bid work.
• Developing original approaches to improve or replace existing processes and procedures.
• Designing bespoke solutions.
• Documenting the programme solution design.
• Supporting Lead Consultants in reviewing functional and technical specifications for high‑complexity clients.
• Guiding Client Programme Directors, Project Managers and keeping them informed.
• Sharing knowledge with other project team members or other Hitachi Solutions consultants.
• Developing direct reports’ and team members’ soft skills and supporting their career development for succession planning.
• Executing assigned responsibilities in a manner consistent with Hitachi Solutions Europe Ltd.’s Quality Management Policy.

Key Competencies & Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of business intelligence applications and analytics.
• Strong consulting experience.
• Experience in developing customised solutions to complex business problems.
• Demonstrable programme‑level solution architect experience.
• Strong working knowledge of solution and integration design.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Logical approach to problem‑solving and structured introduction of change into operational systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
