Responsibilities
- Define and set up the Quality plans and Quality deliverables in phase of bids, projects or products
- Support the Hitachi Rail Quality Audit schedule and Supplier Quality Audits when required
- Support Customer Satisfaction surveys and drive resulting actions to help us improve
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and reducing the cost of poor quality
- Prepare monthly Quality statistics, trend analysis and improvement opportunities for Hitachi Rail Quality in the form of Quality Advices and QA dashboards
- Support Supplier Quality performance monitoring and management in conjunction with procurement
- Attend and present salient information at weekly and monthly contract/project reviews, including customer meetings, to present Quality trends and OTIS (opportunities, threats, Issues & Success)
- Facilitate & coach on Root Cause Analysis activities across a wide range of topics on the project
- Support local and corporate Business Improvement initiatives and programs; and cultivate continual improvement
- Provide quality support and maintain an effective operational relationship between Hitachi Rail stakeholders including clients, consortiums, subcontractors, suppliers and the project team
Qualifications
- CQI Member or Practitioner
- Graduate with relevant Quality or engineering discipline or HNC/HND level in an engineering related discipline
- Quality Auditor

Interview Process
We aim to complete a two‑stage interview process, with at least one interview held in person at one of our London offices. The interviews will focus on technical and behavioural competencies. Reasonable adjustments are available with prior notice.
