Join Hitachi Rail as a Bids & Project Management Graduate. In this role you will develop the necessary skills to manage complex projects and bids, contributing to our mission to deliver superior, original technology and products for mobility projects worldwide.

Bid and Project Management Graduate Programme
The 2‑year rotational programme includes BPM skills and leadership training across four work placements. You will gain experience in Project Management, Project Planning, Project Controls and Bid Management.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake bid and project management activities in support of the Bid and Project Management Team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assist with the creation of bids and proposals.
- Create and maintain the project schedule, monitoring progress of work packages and their impact on project milestones.
- Update budgetary information, resource information and validate derived resource profiles.
- Support governance and reporting on project schedule generation, structuring and reporting.
- Administer and maintain the project risk and opportunity register.
- Provide support in performance measurement and variance reporting.
- Assist the nominated Project Manager and their team in extracting and coordinating data for reporting or analysis.
Skills, qualifications and experience
You should be on track to or have achieved a bachelor’s degree in any subject. The ideal candidate is highly organised, adept at prioritisation, demonstrates strong delivery focus, and is adaptable and proactive in a fast‑changing environment.
Location & Flexibility
You will work from our London office. Flexibility is offered via part‑time hours, job sharing, home working or flexible start/end times to support your well‑being and lifestyle.
