Job Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to the drafting team, ensuring technical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established design standards.
- Prepare and critically review detailed architectural, structural (with emphasis on ACMV and Utility system), and construction drawings for Production and Semiconductor factory.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, steel specialists, and project managers to ensure design integrity and constructability.
- Convert conceptual designs and sketches into comprehensive CAD and BIM documentation suitable for regulatory submission and construction execution.
- Coordinate and validate multidisciplinary drawings, identifying and resolving design conflicts or inconsistencies across models.
- Ensure all drawings are accurately dimensioned, clearly labelled, and aligned with project specifications and drafting protocols.
- Revise drawings in response to project updates, client feedback, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain strict compliance with applicable local building codes, industry standards, and submission guidelines.
- Advocate for and implement BIM methodologies and modular design practices to improve project delivery and efficiency.
- Mentor junior drafters, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to quality standards and organizational best practices.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Design Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of drafting experience in ACMV & Utility system projects for production or Semiconductor factory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
