Overview: The opportunity is looking to add a Project Coordinator, working within our dynamic teams to assist our Project Managers to deliver our portfolio of projects. Initially, you will be working on one of our flagship schemes on behalf of a major client. The role would be hybrid working including at site in London, in our Birmingham customer offices and at home. Therefore, flexibility to travel as required is essential.
How You'll Make An Impact:
- Track progress and facilitate communication between the internal team, client and external stakeholders.
- Support transactional activity in SAP and other management tools.
- Co-ordinate timelines, milestones and OTD's and contribute to the wider project planning.
- Assist project forecasting and reporting.
- Updating project files, collating minutes of meetings and uploading them to ACC.
- Arrange project meetings and calls on a recurring and ad hoc basis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external procedures, guidelines and requirements.
- Support Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity are constantly maintained.
- Support the management team in the preparation of reports.
- Assist with the collation of QHSE data for monthly reporting.
- Maintain electronic and paper-based filing systems.
- Assist Document Control, QA Manager and Team members.
Your background:
- Skilled communicator, with a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Excellent organizational skills, having the ability to prioritize and organize workload and actions to meet the demand of the Team and Organizational needs.
- Ability to work in a busy environment where accuracy, quality and timely completion of work are all paramount.
- Advanced use of Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel essential. SAP knowledge desired.
- Knowledge of or high level of learning agility on Data Management Systems.
- Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills to interact with all levels of a business both internally and externally.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
