We’re looking for a BIM Specialist to support HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) product development at Hitachi Energy. As a global role you’ll collaborate with clients, contractors, and cross‑functional teams across the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze architectural, structural, and MEP design models for quality, accuracy, and clashes.
- Extract quantities, perform clash detection, resolve conflicts, and analyze costs.
- Create and maintain 3D/4D/5D/6D Building Information Models and associated documentation.
- Lead BIM coordination meetings, spatial coordination of disciplines, and manage electronic data exchange.
- Develop and enforce BIM content standards, templates, and workflow guidelines.
- Support project budgets, estimates, schedules, and progress reporting.
- Act as the main BIM technology contact between construction managers, subcontractors, owners, and design teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of 3D BIM modeling experience with Revit, AutoCAD, NavisWorks, or similar tools.
- Experience coordinating mid‑ to large‑scale projects, including BIM coordination and data coordination.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in BIM platforms such as BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- High integrity, dependability, and results‑driven approach.
