Join Hitachi Energy as a Global M&A and Partnerships Manager within our Service Business Unit (BU). How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Lead M&A Initiatives: Originate potential acquisitions, manage deal flow, conduct due diligence, and oversee post-merger integration for seamless transitions and value creation.
- Drive Business Innovation: Introduce outside-in perspectives, pilot new business models, and engage with start-ups to accelerate portfolio evolution.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging partnerships to enhance service offerings and market reach.
- Deliver Insightful Analytics: Conduct financial modelling, valuations, and market trend analysis to inform strategic decisions and support long-term growth.
- Enable Strategic Reporting: Prepare concise, impactful reports and presentations for senior leadership, ensuring clarity on progress and priorities.
- Collaborate & Lead: Work across functions to execute strategy, mentor team members, and foster an inclusive, high-performing environment.
Your Background:
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Technology or Engineering.
- Experience: Proven track record in strategic planning, innovation management, and M&A at a global level within complex, matrixed organisations. Background in the Energy sector or OEM with Service provision/Installed Base Management. Experience in top-tier consulting, private equity, or investment banking is a plus.
- Strategic vision and analytical thinking.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage through others in a matrix structure.
