As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will work on real‑world projects from day one, contributing to the design, development and delivery of cutting‑edge electrical systems and solutions. Whether you are passionate about power systems, control engineering or sustainable technologies, we will help you grow your skills and shape your future. To join this role, you will work three days a week in our Birmingham office.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • System design for a high‑voltage substation at a high voltage level.
  • Participate in or lead design review meetings to detect design errors, improve processes and tools, and implement corrective actions.
  • Discuss with other departments and stakeholders to prepare the division of work.
  • Produce designs using CAD and other design software.
  • Validate the design drawings/documents provided by sub‑suppliers to meet customer specifications and internal standards.
  • Work with customers, both internally and externally, to ensure our delivery meets their requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate and network with engineering colleagues, sharing best practices across projects and disciplines.
  • Travel abroad and participate in our product tests in factories.
  • Plan and organise your daily work, exercising problem‑solving skills.

Your Background

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • You can coordinate technically with suppliers and project stakeholders in different locations.
  • You are willing to travel to project sites and other offices.
  • You are a natural problem‑solver who enjoys new challenges.
  • You enjoy communicating and collaborating with a variety of people.
  • You are based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
