As a Project Manager at Hitachi Energy, You will lead projects that support the delivery of innovative energy solutions, helping customers and communities accelerate the transition to a more sustainable energy future,
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and budget.
- Work with project teams to ensure high performance and adherence to project goals.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating critical concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain strong communication channels with all project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget, meeting quality standards and client expectations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within the organization.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring deliverables meet specifications and performance expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera 6) and collaboration tools.
- Experience in a global or multinational corporate environment is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost control.
