We are seeking a proactive Global Controlling & Finance Support Analyst to provide hands on, day to day support to the Global Product Group (GPG) Controller for Power Consulting. This role is central to the effective running of global controlling activities, reporting, processes, and internal controls across the GPG. The role's primary focus is global finance and controlling support, acting as a trusted right hand to the GPG Controller. A secondary remit includes financial support to global portfolio organisation activities, including elements of the R&D portfolio. This is a high impact role offering broad exposure to global finance operations and international collaboration.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Update and maintain global reports, dashboards, templates, and controlling workbooks.
- Support month end close, including workbook updates, data checks, and coordination with local controllers.
- Prepare and analyse project reporting, balance sheet, and support with FCM maintenance.
- Support reporting tool refreshes and balance sheet review planning and follow up.
- Coordinate monthly controller catch ups and ad-hoc workshops.
- Support finance process updates, documentation, and standardisation.
- Contribute to and monitor improvements and continuous improvement initiatives for finance function.
- Review and support internal controls and compliance activities.
- Actively contribute improvement ideas, bringing a growth mindset to the team.
Portfolio & R&D Financial Support (Secondary Focus)
- Provide financial support to portfolio organisation activities.
- Monitor R&D projects and portfolio reporting and forecasting.
- Ensure alignment between portfolio and core controlling data.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar.
- Qualified or Part Qualified in CIMA, ACCA or similar.
- Experience in controlling, business finance, or financial analysis, ideally in a global environment.
- Excel skills; SAP and Power BI experience is an advantage.
- Structured, detail oriented, and comfortable working with global stakeholders.
