We are recruiting a Territory Sales Manager in the North West region, who will be responsible for driving sales within a designated territory, cultivating relationships with existing clients, and identifying and capturing new business opportunities!

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for promoting and selling the full Hitachi range of construction equipment.
  • Attend exhibitions, trade shows and other events to represent HCMUK.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets consistently with a strategic approach, driving revenue growth.
  • Proactively prospect and acquire new customers through cold calling and networking.
  • Generate new sales leads through various channels.
  • Raise customer orders whilst documenting product details, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Collaborate with various teams including marketing, production and sales administration.
  • Provide reports on sales trends for informed decision making.
  • Develop tailored solutions for a seamless sales process, utilising products such as Hitachi Connected Technology and Zaxis Finance, to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • GCSE Maths and English (Level 4 and above).
  • Demonstrable experience in similar role, minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, be a forward thinker with the capability to plan ahead.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with the aptitude to think on your feet and resolve issues.
  • Punctual and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills, being proficient with applications such as MS Office.

  • Experience of working in the manufacturing or similar industry.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly with colleagues and customers.
  • Provide assistance and support to colleagues, demonstrating a hands-on approach.
