Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure quality control processes are adequate and effective. Support the QHSE Director in maintaining the business management systems certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001. Provide expert and professional advice, guidance, and support on quality related issues to all parties. Take ownership of the internal non-conformance process ensuring issues are accurately recorded, are closed out successfully. Generation of QMS policies, procedures, work instructions, etc. to support operational activities. Carry out internal audits of the quality management system and associated internal processes. Utilise data capture, analysis, and action generation to bring about improvements in operational areas. Support other stakeholders with the company-wide equipment calibration process. Collate data to provide reports on key metrics and KPIs to internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative requirements including the UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking system. Assist stakeholders with the Business Partner Due Diligence supplier onboarding process. Work in collaboration with Procurement and Production Parts departments to establish processes for monitoring and reporting of the quality of goods received. Provide support to production department(s) to monitor sub-contractor performance and ensure permits to work and technical sign offs are complete. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Essential Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a quality related role. Previous experience of working to internationally recognised standards including ISO 9001. ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor qualified with experience of undertaking internal audits. Experience of carrying out root-cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why’s, etc. Previous experience of working in a manufacturing or construction equipment environment. Strong communicator and the ability to positively influence others. Preferred Qualified in a recognised engineering discipline to HNC/HND/Foundation Degree standard. Green Belt (or above) Six Sigma qualified. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualified. Membership of a recognised professional body such as the Chartered Quality Institute (i.e. PCQI). Some knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or ISO 50001 would be advantageous. Understanding of product marking requirements with having experience of Factory Production Control (CE marking) a distinct advantage. Why Should You Apply?
