The Marketing Assistant will support HCMUK’s marketing team in executing high-impact campaigns across organic and paid social channels, helping build brand awareness, drive engagement, and convert followers into loyal customers.
Social Media Management
Plan, schedule, and publish content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube).
Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and maintain brand voice.
Create compelling written and graphic content.
Track performance metrics and prepare monthly reports with actionable insights.
Paid Social Advertising
Assist in the setup, optimisation, and reporting of paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Conduct A/B testing on creatives, audiences, and placements.
Monitor budgets and ensure campaigns are delivering against KPIs.
Stay up to date with platform updates and algorithm changes.
General Marketing Support
Assist the Marketing & Communications Manager to help reach the Company’s marketing goals and objectives.
Assist in planning, executing and attending company events nationally.
Support email marketing and website updates as needed.
Conduct competitor research and trend analysis.
Assist with campaign planning and brainstorming sessions.
General daily administrative tasks including enquiry tracking.
Ensure brand consistency throughout all content, representing our values.
Maintain excellent customer relationships through quality customer service.
Assist in creating promotional materials, including marketing campaigns, brochures and digital content.
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or relate field.
2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven track record with hands on experience in managing business social media accounts, including creating and optimising paid advertising campaigns and analysing social analytics.
Strong understanding of social media trends, analytics and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
Experience with Canva, Hootsuite, Meta, Google Analytics, or email platforms like Mailchimp.
Experience working in a similar industry.
