We’re looking for a Software Developer to join our Asset View team, creating innovative digital solutions that help keep rail networks safe, reliable and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software applications, web solutions and databases.
- Build scalable, high‑quality front‑end and back‑end solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across software, engineering and product teams.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, validation and continuous improvement activities.
- Support the delivery of robust, maintainable and customer‑focused software products.
- Explore new technologies and approaches that improve products and ways of working.
About You
- Experience in modern software development and strong foundations in object‑oriented programming, web development and database technologies.
- Experience with technologies such as C#, React, Java Script/Type Script, SQL and cloud platforms such as Azure would be particularly valuable.
- Enjoys tackling challenging technical problems.
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
- Takes pride in delivering high‑quality software.
- Is curious, adaptable and eager to learn new technologies.
- Communicates effectively with both technical and non‑technical colleagues.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is welcome, but we are equally interested in candidates who have developed their expertise through hands‑on industry experience.
