We are looking for a Site Manager at Hitachi Energy, Grid Integration business (PGGI). The sites you will manage can be anywhere in the United Kingdom. In this position, you will lead all on-site activities of a project to assure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements during the start-up, construction and/or erection, commissioning and maintenance phases.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning project on-site activities together with the Project Manager, including necessary resources, equipment and milestones.
- Coordinating agreement between customer and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization and policy.
- Responsible for the site, from receiving the assigned site area from the customer until handing it back on completion day.
- Coordination of all on-site activities to ensure the successful execution of start-up, construction, erection, testing and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in electrical/mechanical engineering, or equivalent skills.
- 5+ years’ experience as Site Manager in construction and/or installation business.
- Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Swedish and good communication skills in English.
