In this role, you'll take ownership of the full supply chain lifecycle, ensuring the right materials are delivered at the right time, at the right cost, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and ensure full alignment with project requirements and company standards. How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop and implement project-specific supply chain strategies, aligning with overall company objectives and project timelines.
  • Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for project-related materials, equipment, and services.
  • Monitor and track supplier performance, proactively addressing any issues or deviations to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including potential delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
  • Optimize logistics and transportation processes for efficient material flow to project sites.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Generate regular reports on supply chain performance, cost savings, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a project-oriented environment.
  • Proven track record of managing complex supply chains for large-scale industrial or energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and contract negotiation principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding project environment.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, APICS) are a plus.
