As a Project Lead Engineer, you will coordinate global project teams, interact with stakeholders, and be the main point of contact for technical queries. You will work independently while collaborating with others, managing all your projects and processes with great responsibility. How You'll Make an Impact:
- Serve as the primary contact for technical matters with customers.
- Ensure complete and multidisciplinary information in engineering development.
- Lead the development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges.
- Drive the completion of all engineering activities on projects.
- Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Prepare project documents within budget, scope, and contract.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate potential risks.
- Maintain technical quality in contracts, documents, and deliveries.
Your Background:
- Academic degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineering or similar).
- 5+ years of experience in a similar lead role.
- Experience with HVDC technology is a plus.
- Power industry experience or similar a must.
- Communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take a leading role and deliver quality results.
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing; other languages are an advantage.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the UK.
