As an Early Years Trainer with TOP, you’ll have the chance to share your knowledge and experience, shaping the next generation of childcare professionals. This role lets you stay connected to the sector you love while offering the flexibility of working from home, travelling to meet apprentices, and making a real difference in their careers.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting apprentices working in nurseries and other childcare settings, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
- Creating personalised learning plans to suit each apprentice’s needs, ensuring they have the tools to succeed.
- Demonstrating how functional skills like maths and English play a role in early years care.
- Building strong relationships with employers and keeping them informed about their apprentices’ progress.
- Managing administrative tasks and planning effectively using Google Suite and other systems.
Your typical week will include travel to visit apprentices in your region and working from home when needed.
What You'll Need to Bring:
- Experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
- Confidence with technology and strong organisational skills.
- Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and maths (or a willingness to achieve this).
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your area.
