About the Role
As the face of EDN, you will coach and guide learners through their apprenticeship or qualification, embedding knowledge, assessing competence, and supporting them to achieve lasting success. Your work will directly influence learner achievement, employer satisfaction, and EDN’s continued growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a caseload of up to 40 learners and delivering tailored one‑to‑one coaching
- Supporting learners with additional needs and motivating them to reach their goals
- Maintaining regular communication with employers and learners to track progress
- Delivering monthly teaching sessions and quarterly reviews involving employers
- Supporting Functional Skills delivery and ensuring timely achievement
- Working collaboratively across teams to ensure a seamless learner journey
- Promoting Equality, Diversity, British Values, and inclusive learning practices
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with safeguarding and quality standards
- Representing EDN positively and contributing to new business opportunities
What you need to bring:
- Experience in Coaching, Senior Leadership and Management
- Strong understanding of Functional Skills Maths and English
- Experience teaching, assessing or supporting post‑16 learners
- Knowledge of Ofsted requirements, ESFA funding rules and ILR compliance
- Excellent communication, coaching and organisational skills
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations
- Strong digital skills and confidence using ICT
- Commitment to safeguarding and learner welfare
- Willingness to travel for occasional meetings
