Overview
Role: Digital Content Creator | Location: Remote based | Salary: from £32,000 + tax-free bonus | Contract: 12 months fixed term or 6 months fixed term
In this role, you\’ll design interactive eLearning modules, simulations, and multimedia content that bring learning to life. Working closely with the Curriculum Manager, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders, you\’ll transform educational materials into engaging digital content that captures learners\’ attention and supports business goals. This is a fully remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with the wider team online.
Responsibilities
- Creating interactive eLearning using Articulate 360, Colossyan, and similar tools.
- Applying instructional design principles and multimedia elements.
- Ensuring content is responsive and works across different devices.
- Developing and optimising visuals, animations, and videos.
- Collaborating with SMEs and teams to produce high-quality content.
- Ensuring brand consistency and effective learning outcomes.
- Integrating SCORM-compliant materials into Bud.
- Managing course uploads, updates, and testing.
- Gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintaining high standards and keeping content up to date.
- Overseeing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360.
- Ability to create engaging multimedia content, including videos, animations, and graphics with Canva.
- Understanding of instructional design models such as ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and Gagne\’s Nine Events of Instruction.
- Awareness of learning theories and learner-centred design to create effective digital learning experiences.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and collaborate with SMEs.
- Ability to troubleshoot, resolve technical issues, and ensure a seamless learning experience.
- Clear writing skills for instructional materials and scripts, with the ability to adapt content based on feedback.
- Willingness to stay updated on digital learning advancements to enhance course effectiveness.
