Location: Remote (with regular travel in London)
Salary: from £30,000 – £35,000 + tax-free bonus + travel expenses
Were looking for a motivated and experienced Apprenticeship Development Quality Assurer to support the growth and performance of our Vocational Trainers. This is a remote-based role with regular travel in the London region (3–4 days per week), focused on enhancing the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and engaging hospitality apprenticeship programmes.
Responsibilities
- Coach and Develop Vocational Trainers
- Deliver face-to-face and remote coaching, mentoring, and teaching support
- Identify trainer development needs and build tailored training plans
- Support trainers through structured induction, CPD, and qualifications (e.g. TAQA, Learning and Skills Mentor)
- Conduct regular teaching observations, giving actionable feedback to improve learner outcomes
- Drive Quality and Compliance
- Champion continuous improvement aligned with the Education Inspection Framework
- Use quality assurance tools (e.g. e-portfolios, learner data) to identify gaps and underperformance
- Work closely with Area Managers and other departments to ensure delivery consistency
- Maximise Learning Impact
- Design and run upskilling workshops, coaching interventions, and risk-based training sessions
- Collaborate with employers during site visits to monitor the quality of apprenticeship delivery
- Keep up to date with sector trends and innovation in digital and in-person learning strategies
About You
- Background in hospitality apprenticeship delivery and vocational training
- Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification (e.g. Award in Education and Training)
- Ideally, a Level 4 TAQA qualification (or willing to work towards – well support you!)
- Located for regular travel in and around London
- A strong coach and mentor, with a passion for developing others
- Coaching qualification (desirable)
