Historika Porsche is based just outside Ipswich, Suffolk and specialise in the restoration and building of Classic Porsche road and racecars to the highest standards. Historika has a purpose built workshop, which consists of a metal work and fabrication department that includes a media/vapour blast and clean room, car storage facilities, in-house rolling road, paint preparation, and a main workshop with an engine and gearbox build area, engineering and machine shop, and car build bays. These facilities enable us to carry out pretty much all work in house.
Historika is a small tight knit team that provides a friendly and relaxed working environment. We are a company that cares about our staff and also the end product. Attention to detail is a necessity as our cars have won trophies on the racetrack and concours lawn.
The successful candidate will need to:
- Build, restore and rebuild road and race cars to the highest standards
- Be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Be a strong team player and work well in a small team environment
- Communicate and problem solve effectively
- Have good organisational and time management skills and be able to work to deadlines
- Have an acute attention to detail
- Car build experience is essential
- Porsche build experience not essential but preferred
- Full driving licence essential
- Event support preferred but not essential
