Historic Royal Palaces is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle & Gardens.
Status: 18 months Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £45,835 (£21,507 per annum pro rata for 3 days per week)

Historic Royal Palaces is looking for a creative and experienced Web Digital Producer (Schools) to join our Digital Engagement team. This role is a vital part of our strategy to reach every school in the UK through innovative digital learning resources and experiences. Working alongside the Digital Content Manager (Schools) and the Website Manager, you will help lead the redesign of our school-focused web pages and provide the best user experience for teachers and students alike.
You will use insights from user research and website data to collaborate with external agencies and internal teams in delivering a newly designed school’s online experience. As part of the project, you will ensure the schools web pages align with digital best practices and accessibility standards, ensuring that teachers can easily engage with our educational programmes and content.
You will play an essential role in overseeing the web development process, from content design, website functionality and schools IA recommendations to user testing. Strong project management skills and attention to detail are key in delivering a website that is not only functional but also engaging for our audience.
Your ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, coupled with your analytical skills, will be critical to your success in this role. You’ll have a keen understanding of SEO and accessibility standards, ensuring that our content is easily discoverable and meets the needs of our users.
