Days/Hours of work - 40 hours per week on a Monday to Friday basis, however weekend and bank holiday working will be required on a rota basis and when in peak season.
About the role and about you
We are currently recruiting a highly motivated Deputy Team Leader who will support the Central Warehouse Manager to lead our committed and professional Warehouse team based in Croydon. Your challenge will be to assist the effective and efficient management of the warehouse, ensuring that distribution demands are fully met on a daily basis for all Retail stores and ecommerce fulfilment.
You should be able to demonstrate the following skills & attributes:
- Driven to succeed and meet targets.
- Excellent systems learning knowledge.
- Experienced in a Manager/Supervisor or Team Leader role.
- Previous warehouse experience essential.
- Open to change in line with business needs.
- Enthusiastic and positive.
- Able to train and motivate those around you.
- Full clean driving licence.
Applicants should also have relevant H&S qualifications, with the ability to become a first aider after full training, a sound understanding of stock control, excellent verbal and written skills and have a passion for providing excellent customer service. Good IT, numeracy and communication skills are essential, alongside a full, clean UK driving licence.
The role is quite varied and to succeed you will need to be well organised, motivated, and able to work independently, but also willing to work with the team to carry out activities to ensure things run successfully.
This role will mainly involve working 40 hours per week on a Monday to Friday basis, however weekend and bank holiday working will be required on a rota basis and when in peak season.
Pay Range: 10 - £33,514 (inclusive of 4 hours AHS) per annum pro rata
