We are looking for a Trusts Executive to support the growth of income from trusts and foundations by developing and submitting high‑quality, compelling funding proposals and delivering excellent stewardship. Working closely with the Trust Manager and the wider Development team, you’ll manage your own portfolio of lower‑to-mid‑value trust and foundation supporters, while contributing to a strong, sustainable pipeline of future funders. You’ll play a key role in ensuring funders feel valued, informed, and confident in the impact of their support. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their trust fundraising career or to build specialist expertise within a dynamic and ambitious philanthropy team. You’ll be an organised and proactive fundraiser with strong written communication skills, a collaborative approach, and an interest in building a career in trusts and foundations fundraising.

What You Will Be Doing In Your Role

  • Deliver an annual income target from a portfolio of lower‑to-mid‑value trusts and foundations through effective cultivation and solicitation.
  • Provide high‑quality stewardship to build long‑term relationships and secure repeat funding, including timely reports and supporting funder meetings or visits.
  • Act as the primary contact for trust and foundation supporters, ensuring responsive, professional communication.
  • Prepare clear, high‑quality briefings for senior volunteers, Campaign Board members and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate donor and gift records in line with data protection requirements and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
  • Track application deadlines, reporting milestones and stewardship commitments to ensure excellent donor care and accurate reporting.
  • Contribute to annual planning by maintaining accurate pipeline information and supporting income forecasting.
