As Site Co-Ordinator, you will be part of the Public Engagement (PE) team at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens (HCG) enabling the widest possible audience to learn about, discover, explore and enjoy the stories and history of Hillsborough Castle and Gardens. We do this through public programming, interpretation and schools and community programmes.
With your excellent operations experience working in a busy customer-facing visitor attraction, you will provide a 5* customer experience to all Public Engagement visitors including schools, families, adults, community groups and those with additional needs. You will do this by providing the facilities, welcome, operational and administrative support that ensures Public Engagement programmes run smoothly for our visitors at Hillsborough Castle.
You will have plenty of contact with visitors of all ages so you will be a ‘people person’. You will also need well-developed communication skills in order to liaise with colleagues across the team at Hillsborough Castle and in particular to develop a close working relationship with the Visitor Operations team.
You will have exceptional customer service skills and a solution-based approach to dealing with any queries, complaints or operational challenges. You will have the strong organisational, communication and administration skills needed to support the planning and delivery of a busy programme of events, activities and projects. Ideally, you will have experience in managing databases compliant with GDPR laws. You’ll be IT literate and a competent user of Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be able to work flexibly as occasional evening and weekend working may be required. Above all, you must be able to work as part of a team, working collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and partners and will excel in developing strong working relationships.
If you think you have the enthusiasm, energy, skills and experience to join a team that delivers sector-leading, community, school and public programmes, we would love to hear from you.
