Salary: £41,461 per annum pro rata
Days/Hours of work / Seasonal contract: 9 months minimum, Full time (36 hours per week including evenings and weekends as and when the events schedule requires it)
From music events to ice rinks and food festivals, we need a dedicated Senior Commercial Events Planner (maternity cover) to lead on the delivery of a broad and exciting range of commercial events, whilst also selling and managing private and corporate events. Applicants should deliver consistent five-star service; managing and delivering client’s expectations to ensure flawless coordination and execution of all events. You should be a strong leader who demonstrates a high level of customer service.
This role is about communication as much as organisation. You will work to continually enhance and promote the reputation of HRP as a world class portfolio of event venues by providing event organisers, clients and guests with faultless support and facilities.
You must be a self-starter and a quick learner with the ability to hit the ground running. Possessing the ability to work on your own initiative, you must be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to engage personably with all stakeholders. Someone who can work well in a team environment, you’ll also have excellent IT, communication, and interpersonal skills.
You’ll have proven experience of running events on an operational level. In-depth knowledge of the industry is essential and any knowledge of working within a heritage setting will stand you in good stead.
Finally, you must be prepared to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as and when the events schedule requires it.
