Overview
The role: Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) is delivering a strategy to be a charity for everyone. Our Schools Content Team comprises two areas: Palace Programmes and National Programmes & Outreach. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of Producers responsible for the National Programmes and Outreach work for learners from Early Years to KS5, including SEND and home-educated audiences. You will oversee planning, delivery, communication and budgets while developing inclusive, audience-focused content that is distinctive and impactful. You will play a central role in shaping the future direction of our schools offer during a period of significant development, guiding your team to produce large-scale, high-profile initiatives with broad national reach. Your work will strengthen HRPโs reputation as a sector leader in learning.

What weโre looking for
As manager your main focus will be the development of our national and outreach programmes, with additional activity at our four London sites and online delivery. You will need to be confident and skilled in managing multiple large-scale, complex projects and programmes simultaneously, to time and budget. You will have significant, proven expertise in developing and delivering content for a diversity of school learners across the age range and, ideally, will have also developed and lead content for teacher training. Knowledge of working across a national spectrum, recruiting and engaging schools in the culture, arts/heritage/natural heritage or similar sectors is essential. You will have a proven experience of managing and motivating successful, high achieving teams and establishing an inclusive, collaborative work environment that enables all to achieve.
With strong interpersonal skills, you will be a strategic thinker and have a record of success in working in partnerships/with multiple stakeholders to deliver initiatives for schools and/or young people. You will be adept at setting, evaluating and achieving agreed KPIs and skilled in communicating and influencing a range of stakeholders, both in written and verbal form. This will be underlined by your secure knowledge of the national curriculum, education sector and cultural enrichment.
You will be a passionate advocate for young people and those working in the education sector and find innovative ways to engage them in our sites and stories with significant positive outcomes and impact.
