We are now seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join the team responsible for the smooth running of day to day operations at the Tower.

About The Role

As Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital part in ensuring this world‐famous site operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Working closely with the Head of Operations and the wider Operations Management Team, you will provide exceptional administrative and logistical support that helps deliver an outstanding experience for every visitor. You will support with the direction and coordination of all areas which impact on the operational running of the Tower of London. Your work will be varied and fast‐paced – from managing stakeholder relationships and supporting financial processes to coordinating meetings, monitoring back‐of‐house standards, and helping maintain the smooth flow of daily activities. You'll be a key point of contact for internal teams, senior managers, and external partners, ensuring that communication, organisation and planning are always of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent operational input to Tomorrow's Tower planning groups, ensuring visitor experience and operational goals align with programme priorities.
  • When necessary, represent Head of Operations and operations leadership team in meetings with other senior stakeholders and deputise for them in these meetings.
  • Review the "rhythm" of operations‐led daily (hub), weekly and monthly meetings to ascertain if they are fit for purpose. Then implement improvements and ensure that the output and coordination is efficient and that they are decision‐focussed.
  • Support the Chief Security Office with his interim Operations manager duties with regards to Standard Operating Procedures and training in particular.
  • Assist the Head of Operations and the operations team with diary management, financial systems to effectively coordinate the teams priorities and commitments.
  • Support the operations team to deliver high priority initiatives and implement/maintain them in the operations actions tracker.
  • Work with Visitor Services Manager and Customer Experience Officer to ensure visitor data underpins all operational meetings and drives decisions.
  • Work with the Head of Operations to regularly review and refine the Operations Coordinator role to understand how it may contribute to a future Tower Operations structure.
