The role
As a Schools Administrator within the Schools National Programmes & Outreach team, you will play a vital part in delivering inspiring learning experiences for teachers and pupils across the UK. Your role will be central to the smooth running of our national programmes and outreach initiatives, ensuring teachers receive excellent customer service and efficient administrative support.
You will contribute to several exciting national projects, including:
- Large-scale national outreach programme for primary schools
- Schools Access Fund
- Inspiring History Teaching Awards
- Other national and outreach projects, including SEND-focused initiatives
- Teacher familiarisation sessions and CPD opportunities

What we are looking for
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- Proven experience in a busy customer-facing role and a commitment to excellent service.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple inboxes and administrative processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong standard of English.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems.
- Experience with administrative or finance-related tasks such as raising invoices or managing payments (or willingness to develop this skill).
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing programme needs.
- A genuine interest in supporting schools and national learning initiatives.
Experience in an education, heritage or cultural environment is desirable, as is familiarity with safeguarding and GDPR responsibilities.
This position involves occasional work with young people and is therefore subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
