We are recruiting for Apprentice Security Officer at Hampton Court Palace, giving you a fantastic opportunity to grow your Security skills whilst working at the beautiful Hampton Court Palace. Being an apprentice is an exciting challenge – often demanding but hugely rewarding. You will be training within a heritage environment, working alongside and learning from our experienced and dedicated team, developing skills and knowledge.

The role will involve assisting the Security Team Leader in monitoring CCTV and alarms, including proactive patrolling throughout the buildings & grounds and responding to fire alarm activations. This role will require you to communicate effectively with your colleagues and deliver excellent customer service.

The Role Will Include:

  • Control Room operations
  • Controlling pedestrian and vehicle access to the Palace
  • Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems
  • Responding to any escalated security incidents
  • Proactive patrolling throughout the buildings and grounds
  • Responding to fire alarm activations
  • Providing a safe and secure environment for visitors and staff
  • Ensure own understanding of all security procedures, particularly emergency procedures, by participating in a structured programme of learning and refresher tests.
