Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including weekends and public holidays)

This is an exciting time to join the Warehouse team as we introduce a weekend shift to support our larger sites over weekend trading, while still working alongside the wider warehouse team. As a warehouse assistant, you will form part of a team of 10, based at the Seafield Warehouse and Distribution Centre. Your core responsibility is to work with the team to deliver retail products and assets to our sites and properties across Scotland, as well as assist with maintaining stock of 1300 lines, and picking and packing of deliveries – both to our sites and online shop customers.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

  • Picking and packing of site stock orders, ensuring accuracy of both the stock delivered and information input into the stock management system to allow for accurate reporting
  • Receiving and quality checking of incoming stock, including accurate receipting of goods within the stock management system to allow for accurate reporting and invoices to be paid on time
  • Safe movement of goods around the warehouse. Follow stock procedures, including completing any audit paperwork
  • Delivery of goods to our sites as per the van delivery schedule
  • Assisting with the picking and packing of orders for our online shop customers, ensuring packing to the high standard customers expect, and meeting delivery deadlines
  • Liaise with sites regarding stock queries, deliveries etc.
  • Liaise with suppliers on issues arising from delivery/stock
  • Picking and packing of hampers/gift baskets/gift bags if required
  • Liaise with merchandising and buying teams regarding stock queries, deliveries etc.
  • Work with rest of warehouse team to prepare for and deliver two annual stock takes
  • Follow all health and safety legislations/requirements relating to the busy warehouse, including manual handling when physically moving stock
  • Keep warehouse housekeeping standards, to ensure a clean and safe environment
