Historic England is the public organisation that brings new life to heritage to build a better future for every place and everyone. Historic England has multiple opportunities for you to join us as our Project Officers - Externally Funded Projects in the Midlands. These roles are fixed-term contracts until March 2030. The location of this role is Birmingham, inclusive of hybrid working.

What you will be doing:
As part of Historic England’s Regions Group, the postholder will be a member of the regional Historic Places Regeneration Team, providing support in the delivery of our externally funded projects, including our Heritage at Risk Capital Fund and Places of Worship Renewal Fund, until March 2030. This involves coordinating delivery of new Places of Worship and Heritage at Risk capital repair grant projects across your specific Historic England Region. Supporting projects through liaison, initiation, development, delivery, monitoring, closure and evaluation, both internally and with external stakeholders.
