Summary

We are the public body that looks after England’s historic environment. We champion historic places, helping people understand, value and care for them.

Historic England have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our Listing Coordinator.

This is a Full Time, Fixed-Term Contract until 31st March 2026 based in Birmingham with hybrid working.

What you will be doing

As our Listing Coordinator, you will assist colleagues in the Listing team in the delivery of targets and priorities. You will coordinate and administer listing casework for the whole of the Midlands.

You will act as the initial point of contact for customer enquiries concerning listing, ensuring high standards of customer service at all times. Ensuring effective communication with owners and other stakeholders.
