Historic England has a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our Facilities Assistant in our Cambridge office. This is a full time, 6 months fixed-term contract.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure day-to-day facilities management (FM) services are delivered on site and that facilities are safe, clean, well stocked, suitably maintained, well presented and comfortable at all times.
  • Act as the first point of contact for colleagues, tenants and visitors on site.
  • Monitor performance standards of key contractors and proactively resolve issues for colleagues and escalate problems appropriately.

  • Proven experience in customer service roles.
  • Excellent communication skills and good organisation skills.
