These roles are Fixed-term contract until March 2030.

The location of this role is Birmingham, inclusive with hybrid working.

What you will be doing

As part of Historic England’s Regions Group, the postholder will be a member of the regional Historic Places Regeneration Team, providing support in the delivery of our externally funded projects, including our Heritage at Risk Capital Fund and Places of Worship Renewal Fund, to March 2030.

This involves coordinating delivery of new Places of Worship and Heritage at Risk capital repair grant projects across your specific Historic England Region. Supporting projects through liaison, initiation, development, delivery, monitoring, closure and evaluation, both internally and with external stakeholders.

Who we are looking for

  • Knowledge of the historic environment and experience of managing and monitoring projects whilst maintaining a focus on delivery and quality
  • Experience of electronic data management, analysis and presentation
  • Good ICT skills including experience of varied systems including Microsoft applications
  • A proven track record in developing positive and effective working relationships with a wide range of others
  • Proven experience of internal and external stakeholder engagement
