Historic England is the public organisation that brings new life to heritage to build a better future for every place and everyone. This is a full time, permanent contract, we are open to job share applications. The location of this role is Bristol, inclusive with hybrid working.

What you will be doing:
- Support the Business Manager in providing feedback to the Local Leadership team on operational and grants budgeting, designation casework, and in ensuring compliance with agreed practices and standards.
- Provide quality assurance in relation to our listing, advisory and grant work.
- Lead the Planning coordination function of the Business Support teams and be responsible for developing the team’s capabilities in the delivery of statutory casework, grant-aid and advice.

- Experienced in project management.
- Experienced in continuous business improvement.
- Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
- Experienced in handling internal and external customer queries and complaints with tact and courtesy.
