We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to spearhead large‑scale RFID installation projects, initially focusing on complex Zebra solutions for a major defence customer. Rather than focusing on line management, you will be the driving force behind the delivery: managing task assignments, coordinating workflows, and ensuring flawless project execution alongside our talented Zebra engineers. You will be working fully remotely with frequent travels to our customers’ sites—primarily in Barrow and Portsmouth. A valid driving license is required for this position.
Responsibilities:- Drive the successful delivery of complex RFID installation projects on customer sites across the North and South of the UK.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate frequent customer site visits (primarily in Barrow and Portsmouth) based on critical project stages.
- Manage the daily project activities of Zebra engineers, including task coordination, staging, site activation, and verification.
- Act as the central hub of project governance. You will navigate complex interlinked dependencies, expertly managing relationships between internal technical teams, the customer, and multiple third‑party vendors.
- Ensure seamless project delivery across planned projects.
- 10-15+ years of proven project management experience.
- Prior, hands‑on experience managing and delivering RFID installations.
- Active Project Management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma).
- Due to the nature of our clients, you must possess UK Citizenship and hold an active UK Security Clearance.
- Prior experience successfully delivering projects within the Defence or Government sectors.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to untangle complex stakeholder environments and align interlinked dependencies.

- Training and personal development in soft skills and hard skills, access to our internal learning portal and internal career opportunities within Zebra departments
- Annual bonuses based on financial results
- Yearly salary increases according to individual performance
