About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to sit at the heart of Swiss Re’s investment management operations, supporting both SRILIAC – Swiss Re’s U.S.-based investment manager – and the broader ACP Operations platform. You’ll play a meaningful role in keeping a sophisticated fund platform running efficiently, contributing to everything from day‑to‑day operational oversight to governance coordination and cross‑functional business management. No two days will look the same, and your contributions will be felt across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end‑to‑end fund operations, including reporting, reconciliations, cash management, trade life‑cycle oversight, NAV production support and fund launches.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external administrators, custodians and service providers to ensure key operational activities are executed accurately, on time and within a strong control environment.
- Draft, update and maintain procedures and documentation, ensuring records are well‑organised, current and accessible across the platform.
- Support governance and risk & control activities across the ACP Operations remit, including issue follow‑up, reporting coordination and policy management.
- Act as a connector between ACP business units and the wider Asset Management organisation, helping ensure activities are delivered in a well‑controlled and structured manner.
- Respond to ad hoc requests and contribute flexibly across a wide range of operational and business management priorities as business needs evolve.
- Interpret and synthesise complex information from varied sources to support decision‑making and operational oversight.
- Maintain record retention and documentation management standards, supporting the ongoing oversight and integrity of the SRILIAC platform.
About the Team
ACP Business Management is a dedicated division within Group Asset Management, providing specialised transaction and business support to the ILS, Retro, LHSS and Investment Management businesses. SRILIAC, Swiss Re’s U.S.-based investment manager, sits within this environment and is responsible for overseeing a range of investment and fund‑related activities. The team works closely with internal stakeholders, external administrators, custodians and a broad network of business partners to support effective fund operations, oversight and coordination across the platform. This role offers genuine exposure to a wide operational landscape – from fund‑level activities through to broader governance and cross‑functional business management – making it an excellent environment for someone looking to build deep expertise across a complex, high‑quality asset management platform.
About You
You are a proactive, organised and intellectually curious professional who is energised by variety and complexity. You communicate clearly, build relationships with ease and take pride in producing high‑quality work. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities and rolling up your sleeves to get things done – whether that means drafting a procedure, following up on an operational issue or supporting a fund launch.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, Business, Economics, Law or related discipline).
- 1+ years of experience in Operations, Finance, Legal, Audit or Consulting, with exposure to financial services or investment management environments preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex and varied information and translate it into clear, actionable outputs.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft and refine documentation – including procedures, reports and governance materials – for different audiences and purposes.
- Solid understanding of end‑to‑end operating models, with the ability to look beyond individual processes and appreciate the broader operational landscape.
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with fund operations concepts such as NAV production, reconciliations, cash management or trade life‑cycle processes.
- Experience supporting governance, risk & control or compliance‑related activities.
- Exposure to working with external service providers such as fund administrators or custodians.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- A self‑starter mindset with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail.
