Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of domestic and commercial subsidence claims from notification to conclusion.
  • Diagnose and mitigate structural defects and subsidence in buildings.
  • Communicate with team members and service providers.
  • Conduct remote or on-site diagnosis using digital technology or face-to-face site visits.
  • Prepare and submit claim documentation and reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required to travel by car.
  • Professional Qualifications: Working towards or holding a chartered building professional qualification (MCIOB, MRICS, MICE) and ideally an insurance qualification (CILA, CII).
  • Technical Expertise: Proven ability to identify, diagnose, and repair subsidence-related defects and drainage system issues.
  • Insurance Claims Handling: Previous experience in insurance claims handling is desirable; training will be provided.
  • Customer Service & Communication: Strong decision-making, customer-service orientation, and effective empathic communication skills.
