Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of domestic and commercial subsidence claims from notification to conclusion.
- Diagnose and mitigate structural defects and subsidence in buildings.
- Communicate with team members and service providers.
- Conduct remote or on-site diagnosis using digital technology or face-to-face site visits.
- Prepare and submit claim documentation and reports.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required to travel by car.
- Professional Qualifications: Working towards or holding a chartered building professional qualification (MCIOB, MRICS, MICE) and ideally an insurance qualification (CILA, CII).
- Technical Expertise: Proven ability to identify, diagnose, and repair subsidence-related defects and drainage system issues.
- Insurance Claims Handling: Previous experience in insurance claims handling is desirable; training will be provided.
- Customer Service & Communication: Strong decision-making, customer-service orientation, and effective empathic communication skills.
On-boarding & Development: You will receive comprehensive training through Sedgwick University, including role-specific modules and formal education opportunities.
