Responsibilities:
- As a Domestic Loss Adjuster, you will manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims across London/Southeast.
- You will visit customers at their homes, coordinate contractor visits, and finally settle each claim.
- You will be a calming presence during unsettling events such as burst pipes, fires, or storm damage, and will compile comprehensive reports at your desk or from home.
Key Skills:
- UK Driving Licence – essential for travel
- Insurance knowledge – understanding of home insurance policies and domestic property coverage
- Excellent communication skills – clear speaking and writing with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and more; negotiating fair settlements
- Problem‑solving abilities – efficient identification and resolution of issues
- Time management – planning your own week, prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple claims simultaneously
