We’re looking for a dynamic and driven National Account Manager to spearhead the growth of the Hisense and ASKO brands within the UK Kitchen Retail Channel, across all product categories. This is a key role focused on developing and executing a strategic plan to launch and expand our presence among both national and independent kitchen retailers. You will be responsible for identifying target partners, building long-term relationships, and delivering commercial success through collaborative and innovative sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a creative, optimistic mindset and a passion for building strong partnerships. You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy taking initiative, and have the commercial acumen to drive growth through meaningful engagement with both internal stakeholders and external customers.

Main responsibilities

  • Grow our presence with existing kitchen retail partners and increase brand visibility and market share.
  • Identify and secure new retail partners—both independent and national—by effectively presenting the brand proposition.
  • Build a network of brand ambassadors through showroom training, designer events, trade shows, and local marketing activities.
  • Manage budgets responsibly to deliver a strong return on investment.
  • Monitor account performance, manage aged debt issues, and resolve queries in collaboration with finance.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient delivery solutions are in place.
  • Oversee service performance within your account base, ensuring all after-sales issues and product returns are handled according to policy.
  • Manage commercial aspects such as sales accruals, rebate agreements, and stock compensation payments.
  • Conduct regular customer audits and present key findings and improvement opportunities to internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with accounts, obtaining appropriate sign-off from the Senior Management Team.
  • Collaborate closely with the product management team on range planning, forecasting, and market feedback.
  • Support brand awareness initiatives by working with marketing teams on in-store promotions, campaigns, and launch events.
  • Explore and develop innovative routes to market that align with brand goals and customer needs.

Requirement

  • Proven experience working within the UK kitchen retail sector is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a commercial mindset.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills across all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Track record of exceeding sales and profitability targets.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
