We are looking for a commercially driven Product Line Manager to take overall responsibility for the management and performance of a designated product category with Home Appliances.
This is a broad, commercially focused role covering the full product lifecycle, from market analysis and product planning through to pricing, forecasting, promotion, and sales performance. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and our global headquarters to ensure our product portfolio is competitive, relevant to the UK market, and positioned to deliver sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct market, competitor, and customer analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential gaps in the market.
- Develop a strong understanding of customer and channel requirements and use these insights to identify opportunities for Hisense products.
- Translate UK market requirements into clear product recommendations and proposals for headquarters.
Product & Portfolio Planning
- Develop and manage product introduction and launch plans, including product positioning, channel distribution, and pricing strategies.
- Support the development of a competitive product portfolio aligned with market demand, customer requirements, and commercial objectives.
- Manage products throughout their lifecycle, including new product introductions and range transitions.
Pricing & Promotional Strategy
- Monitor competitor pricing, market activity, and promotional trends.
- Work closely with the Sales team to develop competitive pricing and promotional strategies.
- Evaluate commercial performance to ensure pricing and promotional activity supports both revenue and profitability objectives.
Forecasting & Planning
- Develop product and sales plans using market insights, sell-out performance, channel forecasts, and customer demand.
- Monitor sales and inventory performance and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales and Logistics to support accurate forecasting, stock availability, and healthy inventory levels.
Commercial & Sales Performance
- Take ownership of the overall commercial performance of the product line.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Logistics teams to deliver monthly forecasts and annual business objectives.
- Monitor and drive key performance indicators, including revenue, profit, inventory turnover, premium product sales, and market share.
- Identify opportunities to improve product mix, commercial performance, and market competitiveness.
Marketing & Product Promotion
- Work with the Marketing team to develop effective product launch and promotional plans.
- Identify key product selling points and ensure these are effectively communicated to customers and consumers.
- Support go-to-market activities to strengthen product awareness and market positioning.
Global & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain regular communication with global headquarters to ensure UK market requirements and commercial priorities are understood and supported.
- Coordinate with headquarters across Product, Marketing, After-Sales, Supply Chain, and international logistics.
- Act as a key link between the UK business and global teams throughout the product lifecycle.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong commercial awareness who can combine product knowledge, market insight, and data to make effective business decisions.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English.
- Previous experience in product management, category management, or commercial/sales management
- Experience within the consumer electronics, home appliances, or a related industry.
- Experience working within an international organisation and collaborating with global or regional headquarters.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to interpret market, sales, and performance data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
